John Burnside is the multi award-winning internationally renowned Scottish poet and novelist whose work explores fundamental spiritual and ecological issues about the nature of our dwelling on earth.
Burnside is also a prolific prose-writer. His first novel The Dumb House came out in 1997, and he has since published a further seven novels, three collections of short stories and two memoirs including the critically acclaimed A Lie About My Father for which he won the Saltire Award.
