Over the course of the summer school, the students will take part in an inspiring journey that is packed full of creative activities. They will be put through an intensive rehearsal schedule where they will be challenged to learn songs from hit musicals, scripted pieces of theatre, develop vocal skills, and choreograph dance routines that will culminate in a one-off live musical extravaganza show that will take place on the Palace Theatre stage in Kilmarnock!
Students will be working with professional musical and theatre directors on show stopping musical numbers and chorography from the most current musicals on the West End and Broadway - including musicals such as Little Shop of Horrors, Rent, Jesus Christ Superstar, 13, The Greatest Showman and Sister Act to name a few!
Open to all abilities (no audition necessary), the two-week summer school will give giving everyone the chance to perform to their ability and by the end of the summer school you will have made many new friends, learnt lots of skills and techniques and hopefully had lots of fun!
